Doctor Jacobus Barnard completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pretoria in dentistry. He has since practised in all aspects of dentistry in the United Kingdom and South Africa. He developed a special interest and holds post-graduate qualifications in Implantology and Conscious sedation and holds membership at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. He has over 4 years’ experience in “complaints resolution” and mediation of dental disputes on behalf of the South African Dental Association. He completed the medical negligence mediation training at UCT in 2016. Dr Barnard also completed the SAMLA UCT - Foundations in Medical-legal law in 2019. |
