Short CV | |
As a recent graduate in Masters of Industrial Psychology, I look forward and am actively engaging and pursuing a career embedded in industrial and organizational psychology. Over the past year whilst I completed my research my passion has led me to gain some exposure to consulting roles and psychometric practices within different scopes. I would describe myself as a hardworking, diligent, empathic and passionate individual. I have prided myself on gaining diverse experience in different climates and cultures in order to ground and articulate a firmer understanding and appreciation towards psychometrics, organizational behavior, and ethics. Through my experiences and post-graduate development, thus far I have been able to ascertain a competence and proficiency in ‘psychology’. This lending itself to being able to observe and articulate a synopsis of human behavior, intervention design and development, as well as apply psychometric analysis and assessments to both an intra-group and organizational levels. My work as a team-leader in the SIOPSA project for KZN in 2016 echoes my passion and competence concerning psychometrics in practice, and specifically in a South African Context. This equally adding to my ability in understanding the decision making process and areas to critically consider with regards to psychometrics, the application of such, the process of report delivery and construction, and the critical importance of not just providing generic feedback, but encapsulating a holistic view of the process and developmental goals.
